Well it seems the majority of the delay with whack-a-zombie was actually the name. Apple decided it's too close to Whac-A-Mole and told me to rename the game if I wanted it included into the iPhone store.
So I did, after some thought and a lot of messing around with names we decided on zombiegone. It has a kinda hip post-modern feel to it, it's all lower case look and it's red bloody in-game text make it stand out well enough against the endless rash of other iPhone games. Next step will be releasing the PC / Mac version via steam!
